While you're right It would just be another game to add to my already massive backlog.

One you would actually play though and could knock out in a weekend, such a great game.

Anyone keen on all/some of our vast collection of Game Informer magazines? From 2013 up to last month's one. Not all are there, we've saved a handful of them, but the pile is too big and seems a waste to throw them in recycling. Don't know what else to do with them.

Free, but if you're not in Dunedin you'll have to pay postage, or fly/drive here to get them. ?

Metro 2033 is currently free on Steam. Only available for 24 hours.

Just looked on my phone now and its not free, just on discount. Maybe 24 hours are up?

Just checked the steam page on my computer and it says free for 24 hours still. I got to it by going to the publisher weekend sale on the top banner.

There is Metro 2033 Redux and Metro 2033. The Redux version is not free.  Maybe you only saw the Redux version?

Yeah I managed to get the normal version for free just by searching for it on Steam. The Redux version is on discount for about $8.

@JorDogg still no good at reading comprehension :classic_rolleyes:  I said I was on the phone app. Steam search for Metro was only coming up with the redux versions.

I can hold my own in Destiny with mouse and keyboard now ?

Can't use my PC for Red Dead Redemption 2 tonight and for the foreseeable future though lol

Destiny 2 is free on PC until Nov 18, and you get to keep it forever.

Grab it from the Blizzard battle.net client.

If you ever owned Final Fantasy XIV Online and registered it you can play for 4 days for free as long as your account has been inactive for at least 30 days.  The campaign runs from Tuesday 13th November to Sunday 23rd December so plenty of time to decide whether you are interested or not.  Here is the link https://eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/topics/detail/8ad2f45da29c0224a59ed5550486dd1a34476f5e

Outcast Second Contact is FREE at Humble Bundle.

Looks like a straight downloadable game, not a Steam game.

One thing to look out for with most of these free game is that not only do you have to claim it on the site, but you also have to use the code in Steam before a certain date.

I had a number of "free" games codes that expired before I used them on Steam.

Oh I never knew that. I generally just do it as I claim them.

probably to stop people selling them later.
