NZ's Control over opinion - No open Social Boards

Recommended Posts

Sadly I've had to enter onto a gaming forum to ask...

Are there any open social groups in NZ with a relatively decent sized population?

Trade Me General is filled with senior citizens slapping ban buttons on anyone who doesn't appear to be 'with Jesus'

Facebook has no open groups and the few you can 'join' appear to be set up to lure people in and spank them, then kick them

out before they can reply back defending themselves.

A true democracy is one where the citizens are actually heard instead of large media fabricating what they've said.

Depends what you mean by "open"

If your talking low to no censorship them there's a few places round but often themed (like this is gaming themed)

If your talking open minded then, well, humans aren't very open minded by nature so it's a matter of finding the right echo chamber to yell in

I find a lot of places have rules and restrictions (forums, facebook etc) to try keep relative order. Namely to try stop e-arguments, insults and hate talk.

I tend to avoid places that don't have that sort of protection as life is too short to waste time defending your points of view with people who force theirs on you, and e-arguments just lower your IQ level.

I created one; I need nine more people to add themselves and it will appear in searches

I wanted a board people could speak freely in without feeling they were going to get bullied and then banned

before they could reply back as a lot of the 'members only' groups on FB do for funnies

This is open so it should auto add any one joining.

Only rule is not posting really bad stuff that would get the group closed or the posters in prison or sued.

I'm 90% percent sure our existence is fake and most around us too - robots programmed only to argue and throw stones

So yeah, probably a waste of time

But in the instance you can illuminate masses through debate I attempt to do so, so that no one can say that I never tried, in the next life (if there is one)

My life agenda is that if we truly continue on beyond this life I'm going to permanently destroy myself and I don't want anyone insisting that I need to carry on because I owe somebody something.
