Pokémon clone "Temtem" being Kickstarted

Posted By Drunk_Monk

Creature capturing and battling RPG game Temtem is currently being Kickstarted for release in 2019.

With a stretch goal for $250,000 being it's release on Switch, one can hope they raise enough funds for this gorgeous looking gem.

While it's not lifting assets from it like the copyright infringing Pokémon Uranium, it's hard not to see similarities with the games inspiration below.

Inspiration or not, I'll be watching to see if it comes to Switch with bated breath.

Oh man it looks super good, so sad that'll probably get taken down

It may be different enough to be safe.  Though my understandings of copyright law is limited.

Just based on those gifs it looks exactly like pokemon but prettier. Would not be surprised if it does get taken down but still keen to see how it goes, multiplayer on pc/switch pokemon would be a win

That was my thought, but then I also thought 'What makes Pubg different to H1Z1?' as they look identical to anyone who is a non gamer (or even someone like me who does not play them).
