E3 Conference Line Up

Posted By ZombieRawkMachine

Electronic Arts - June 9th 11:00 AM PDT/June 10th 6:00 AM NZT

EA will be continuing to distance themselves from the event by running an alternative conference over the proceeding weekend. The EA Play Event will begin Saturday 9th of June and end Monday 11th of June with their main press conference taking place on Saturday morning at 11:00 AM PDT; Which is 6:00 AM NZT. EA are expected to allow players to get players up close and personal with the new Battlefield V. Anthem should be jet setting with a better look at the game itself and game play. The Sims have been confirmed to have a presence with rumors suggesting a Nintendo Switch port unveiling. Also being confirmed (though unsurprisingly) are the multitude of EA Sport titles so expect to see the likes of new Madden, Fifa, NBA, NHL and UFC. Among other rumored titles are Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 3, Unravel 2, Command and Conquer: Red Alert Online and the rumor mill has Dragon Age 4 at a long shot.

Microsoft - June 10th 1:00 PM PDT/June 11th 8:00 AM NZT

Microsoft are to said to be changing for the positive from their last couple of E3 outings with Microsoft’s Executive Vice President of Gaming’s Phil Spencer having said it will be fun for everyone. It is believed that Microsoft will be gunning for home runs out of the gate and hitting hard. Master Chief is expected to show up with some news of Halo 6 though nothing has been confirmed as of yet. Playground Games are said to be showcasing not one but two games. The first is thought to be a new entry in the Forza franchise as one has been shown every year and the other according to Eurogamer is the Resurrection of Fable universe. Crackdown 3 will most likely have its last showing of uncanny destruction before its release later this year. Along with Rage 2 and a number of other games, Gears of War 5 also had a leak although nothing has been confirmed it would fit Microsoft's Go big or Go home attitude. Lastly is the hope of more information on the sequel to 2015’s Ori and the Blind Forest; Ori and the Will of the Wisps.

Bethesda - June 10th 6:30 PM PDT/June 11th 1:30PM NZT

Bethesda are said to be making this years conference their biggest and longest yet. Bethesda like to shoot from the hip with their announcements and tend to wait until they are nearly finished; so anything is possible during this one. With the confirmation of Rage 2 one can expect to see even more of it at the event.

Square Enix - June 11th 10:00 AM PDT/June 12th 5:00 AM NZT

Square Enix will be showing off more from Kingdom Hearts III including having playable demos at the event. Lara Croft will be sharing her latest adventure in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. This underrated DS game’s remake should be getting some love in The World Ends With You: Final Remix. In what is becoming the age of the geek I am sure we will see just what Marvel has going with them in The Avengers Project. And if we are lucky Final Fantasy VII Remake news that doesn’t involve the words cancellation. The Square Enix press conference will be taking place as a pre recorded video.

Ubisoft - June 11th 1:00 PM PDT/June 12th 8:00 AM NZT

Ubisoft have already announced a series of games that they will be covering including The Division 2, Beyond Good & Evil 2, For Honor, Skull and Bones, Starlink: Battle for Atlas, Transference. They have also revealed they will will be sharing a few surprises including a AAA title thought to be a new Splinter Cell game.

Sony - June 11th 6:00 PM PDT/June 12th 1:00 PM NZT

The plan for Sony this year is to have more focused content, they will still giving us news on indie and third party games but their show will mainly consist of first party content. Kojima has been tweeting, teasing and wetting everyone's appetites for whatever it is Death Stranding just happens to be. Web slinging will also be on offer as they show off their Arkham Insect known as Spider-Man. Ghost of Tsushima will also be unveiled for the masses to see. Fitting to end on this note as they will be sharing Naughty Dogs Last of Us Part II.

Nintendo - June 12th 9:00 AM PDT/June 13th 4:00 AM NZT

For the sixth year in a row Nintendo will be skipping the traditional conference in favor of a pre recorded video focusing on the Switch release schedule and specifically Smash Bros.

Throughout the weekend there will also be a few other announcements made that I couldn’t possibly cover here such as CD Projeckt thought to be bringing Cyberpunk 2077, Remedy Entertainment with Project Seven and more on Capcom’s mega hit Monster Hunter World.

Thanks for writing this, I haven't had the time this year to get around to it! Looking forward to E3 but I don't think I can take time off work this year so will be missing out on the live stuff ?

If sony really is just showing off the 4 games, then I'm not really looking forward to it, I don't want to see a scene from the games before I even start the games, the only game I would be interested in seeing is Ghost of Tsushima because I'm not sure what the gameplay looks like. Other than that hoping for a new elder scrolls game or the rumored fallout by obsidian.

Yeah its been mentioned that Playground have been working on some sort of open-world RPG so makes sense they're showing two games.

Here's hoping Horizon 4 doesn't suck as hard as 3.  We won't be pre-ordering it, that's for sure.  Probably try it out on game pass, and then see what our thoughts are after a month.

That's the biggest plus from Gamepass.  It doesn't cost you anything extra to try it, and if it's shit, you only lost the time.

Yeah and we've even got a free month code still just sitting on the shelf from the xbx purchase ? Nothing in it so far, has enticed us to redeem it vs just playing what we've already got.
